About

2nd Cir

Hi I’m Harris. I grew up in a small town in northwest Georgia. I have one younger sister and two little beagles that stay with my mom in my hometown. I am currently a law student at the University of Georgia. I want to work in civil, public interest law, but I am not exactly sure what that looks like right now. I came to law school to serve the LGBTQ community so as long as I can find a way to do that with my legal career I will be happy.

I went to a small Methodist college in the Georgia mountains for undergraduate school. I was lucky enough to have a scholarship to play on the golf team. I miss the magic that golf was to me back then. I do not get to talk with my college teammates as much as I would like to these days, but I know I have their support, which means the world to me.

I also happen to be a transgender man who uses he/him/his pronouns. Please be respectful when commenting on my page. Any bigotry/transphobia will not be tolerated, however I encourage genuine, thoughtful questions. Thanks!

And treat those two impostors just the same…
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!”
