I’ve had a long, lazy weekend. I was really glad to see my dawgs get a win. I can’t wait to see Coach Smart and the dawgs in action next weekend between the hedges! I’m really excited to have a full student home game package. I didn’t get tickets last year, which was definitely a mistake. Maybe I’ll actually make it out to a SBA tailgate this season…
I went to the doctor last week to do a routine blood draw to make sure that my testosterone level stays within normal levels. According to the doctor, my level (just over 1000 for total testosterone) is a little high and is starting to mess with some other things. He wants me to lower my dose a touch. To be frank, I don’t want to and am going to see if I can keep the same dose. I’d be willing to get checked more often, but I’m just now getting to where I’m not being “ma’amed” on the phone all the time. I don’t want to think about lowering the dose until my voice lowers a bit more. Plus, after a short Google search (hush, I know haha) I found out that my T level is within a teenagers normal levels which probably is more accurate to where I’m at right now. Anyway, I’m going to talk to him and see if he’ll let me stay on the same dose for a bit. I haven’t grown any taller since starting on T, but on the bright side, I’ve lost 12 pounds since my last weigh-in back in March.
Sadly, I cannot deny that my hairline is in fact widening. It’s not receding, but definitely widening. Based on the men in my family, I should be good to keep it, but it’s kinda freaking me out. Other changes include a steady increase in body hair and acne. If the acne doesn’t clear up by spring, I’ll probably get some medicine to help with it.
99 days until top surgery! Needless to say, I’m super excited.
All the best,
If you can donate to my top surgery fund, I would really appreciate it. Anything helps! Here’s a link: https://www.generosity.com/medical-fundraising/harris-top-surgery-fundraiser
